The Referral Agent Side Of The Program

How often have you referred your friends or family to businesses? Have you ever received a “reward” from the business for referring them? Well, we have created a system that allows local businesses to track customers that were generated a by a referral from someone. This system is much better than the old “pass out my business card” where you never know if your referral buys anything, or if the business is actually going to let you know about it.

The Refer A Sale System is designed to use the Apple Passes™ system to track your referrals. This system is based on the same technology that airlines use for ticketing their passengers, or you may have also seen it if you have purchased a Digital Ticket to a concert, sporting event, movie ticket or other events that use this digital technology. We have coded the system to allow it to track referrals.

How It Works:

STEP 1: First you need to get the Pass loaded onto your phone. Apple phones come preloaded with Apple Wallet which stores the Apple Passes. If you have an Android phone then you will need to download an app that will store the Pass. We recommend downloading Passes from the Google Play Store. The last question in the FAQ below has a link to a Test Pass that you can download to test your phone. Each business controls how they offer the Pass to you. You may have to visit the business, visit their website, be a customer or something else.

STEP 2: You can then share your coded Pass with your friends or family. They will also be required to store the Pass on their phone. The easiest way to share the Pass is to text them the link from the back of your Pass. When they click on the link it will direct them to download the Pass. When they visit the business they MUST have their Pass scanned after making a purchase or other requirement requested by the business (test drive, listen to sales promotion, tour model home).

STEP 3: After the person you referred has their Pass scanned you will receive a notification on your phone that you have received a Referral Reward. The Reward will vary depending on the business. You might get a free appetizer from a restaurant or maybe $100 or more from a car dealer. Depending on the Rewards offered by the Business you may be able to save your Rewards and exchange them for 1 larger Reward. The Business also determines how you receive your Reward. You may have to visit the Business to claim your reward. You may have to wait a period of time to insure the product isn’t returned. They may only let you claim the Rewards on a certain date or time. All of the information should be located on the back of the Pass. When you are ready to claim your Reward the Business will scan your Reward Pass and give you the Reward.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Does Refer A Sale get a part of my commissions?
A: No. We don’t charge the Businesses or the Agents any commissions. We only charge the Business a small monthly flat fee regardless of the amount of sales.

Q: Does one Pass cover every Business that is participating?
A: No, you will be required to get a Pass from each Business you want to refer.

Q: How do I get the Pass from the Business?
A: Each Business controls how they offer their Pass.

Q: Will I earn a Reward for everything the customer ever buys from the Business?
A. No. This software only tracks the first purchase. However, the Business may offer a different way to track future purchases and offer you a Reward.

Q: Will this track online sales from the Business’ website?
A: No, the Pass must be scanned by the Business.

Q: Is it possible for the Business to “cheat” and not pay the Reward?
A: It is the responsibility of the customer to insure their Pass gets scanned at the Business. As long as it is scanned the software will track the purchase and notify you. If the business believes the Reward was received in error or under fraudulent conditions they may not honor the Reward.

Q: Do the customers have to purchase something for the Referrer to receive the Reward?
A: It depends on the Program the Business is offering. The Business can scan the Pass whenever they want, no purchase is actually required by our system. The Business may offer you a Reward if you refer someone that takes a test drive in a car, watches a product demonstration, tours a model home or just walks through the door!

Q: Is my information safe?
A: We don’t store any financial information or sensitive personal information. The only information we ask for is your name, email address and phone number. The Business will get and keep any financial information they require from you for Reward Payments.

Q: What if I or my friends don’t have a phone that will store Passes?
A: Then we are sorry, this program won’t work without the Pass on the phone. The Business may offer a different way of tracking but it would be up to them.

Q: How do I know which Rewards I am eligible for?
A: If you click on the “Check For New Offers” link on the back of the Pass it will show you which Rewards are available to you. If a Business offers a Program with several Rewards you may be able to save up your points and get a higher Reward.

Q: How do I know if my phone will work with Passes?
